Miss-Matched Tea Cups
So delicate each with a pretty design.
There were none that matched, not two of any kind.
Obviously from broken shattered used sets.
Pushed outside and out of way, where all forgets.
Examining each individual tea cup.
Up to the brilliant light, I held them close up.
Now, each little tea cup was perfectly whole.
They just needed my willing fingers to hold.
Like so many of our bodies have survived,
We're so perfect and whole, yet unsatisfied.
Just needing someone to notice our deep need.
To want to hold and love us respectfully.
