Gone, you are
So very far.
Empty I feel,
Time stands still.
Quietness overtakes,
Every minute awake.
Sleepless nights,
Waiting for daylight.
Finding purpose, my own
All reasons gone.
Shadows appear,
Remembering you here.
It's not the same.
I call your name.
No answer I hear,
Alone I fear.
A small voice inside,
“I will abide.”
Alone, I'm not.
I almost forgot.
A sudden smile,
My heart revives.
Because of this voice,
I can rejoice!
