Freedom's Cost
Living in the land of the free,
Many things we seldom do see.
Men and women going to war,
Often forgotten and ignored.
Freedom paid with their very life
To stop the world's mad, angry strife.
On foreign land our soldiers fall,
Heeding to our proud country's call.
A high price to pay for freedom.
Again, we just may not see them
