The War Hasn't Stopped
Over the battle scars of painful war
Long grass and wild flowers have grown.
Yet, my memories I can not ignore.
Today I'm reaping the things that were sown.
Things I keep hidden in myself
Too horrible to speak words to explain.
Not much of the man I was, now is left.
I shutter when I hear my name.
I know I'm withdrawn and don't get along.
Please be patient, I've just come home from war.
I do not know where I belong.
I love you baby, please do not ignore.
